To install a bottom drain through a rubber liner correctly, it is essential to enhance the flange area with cement. This increases the area away from the screws of the flange, reducing stress in case of ground movement or water gathering under the liner. The larger surface area lowers the risk of the liner pulling out from the flange and tearing at the screw points
