Pump Prefilter
The silver can seen here in front of each pump, houses a custom-made 10” x 24” stainless steel basket. Water enters the basket through a drain in the bottom of the pond. The bottom intake and with the basket provides continuous debris removal from the pond.
This stainless steel basket is custom-made for Aquatic Artisans Inc. to fit the silver tanks you see in the picture above. The basket is 24 inches tall and 10 inches in diameter, it catches boatloads of leaves and other pond debris.
It’s easy to see that without this first line of protection, debris would clog your pump’s impeller or get lodged in your filter’s media or return laterals.
Even with our large stainless steel basket, some debris still gets through as seen on the blue plastic basket. Without these two lines of defense, the slits and pads in your filter will struggle to stay open for proper water flow. At Aquatic Artisans Inc., we have the knowledge and solutions to help you keep your system running smoothly and efficiently.
Pondgod, we've decide we want to run our Koi pond's external pump and filter system all winter long this year. What can we do to keep it from getting damaged by frost.
Yes we can Mr. and Mrs. loyal customer we will put the Pondgod right on it for you.
This is the 3rd time we built a structure like this for this purpose and they all protected the equipment from frost damage.
This pink foam polystyrene material must be protected with an exterior paint or the sun will degrade it. the top was hinged with heavy duty underlayment material and impregnated with urethane adhesive.
The radiator heater was set at its lowest level. between the heater and the heat from the pump’s motor the temperature kept in the 50s all winter long.
The finished insulated pump house painted with an exterior paint to protect itfrom the son’s UV rays.
The gap at the top is from the door not being completely closed when the picture was taken.
The slender rectangular item hanging from the plumbing is a remote thermometer. The client can read the temperature of the unit from in the home.

Aquadyne multiport valve and column
If your column or head is damaged and needs replacement we stock these parts from the manufacturer. If we don’t have your particular model in stock and it’s an emergency, we have the experience in replacing the head on your column. we have successfully completed this delicate task for our loyal clients in the past.
As the beads grind against each other, they wear down and become smaller, eventually getting caught in the return slits. To maintain optimal performance, the head should be removed once a year to clear the beads from the slits.

Brass, although resistant to corrosion is a soft metal, very easy to strip.
Throw out the light replace it with a new one or have someone with skills who appreciates their clients loyalty fix it for them?
This underwater accent light is wired into an underwater junction box with a waterproof gel encapsulating the wire connections. The gel itself is expensive proprietary to commercial fountains, made by one corporation, $$$ not to mention the labor of digging out the gel, unwiring and rewiring the unit and reinstalling new encapsulate gel.

Electronic water control unit
2 electronic probes feel for the water level in your fountain, pond, swimming pool. No janky float switch that needs constant adjustment or the float fills with water and becomes inoperable.
We installed this unit 16 years ago, and it continues to operate with the same reliability as the day it was installed. We have installed five of these units, all demonstrating consistent and dependable performance.

Lockable equipment housing for commercial installations or for were extra security is needed.
We designed this storage cabinet for a condominium Association to protect their equipment from unauthorized tampering. By adding custom penetrations that allows for efficient equipment servicing and air circulation for the 2 pump motors and 160 W UV unit. Before installation, we painted this cabinet to blend in with the natural landscaping with a durable epoxy paint.

Small pump protector
Protect your investment!
These pumps, like all swimming pool pumps, are designed with rain-drip-proof motors and are typically installed in the open. However, protecting them from UV rays prevents the plastic from deteriorating and also reduces motor noise. With sitting areas on the other side of this stone wall, you won’t hear the pump at all. While it’s easier to install the pump directly on a slab, adding a housing over your equipment is well worth the effort.
Would you prefer your pump and plumbing to be installed as shown in these two images, or the Aquatic Artisans Inc. way, with meticulous and neatly arranged plumbing as seen above and below?

Concrete pond crack repair
This is the economical approach to concrete crack repair. Typically, we would coat the entire surface to create a monolithic barrier. These clients have been with us for 23 years and are elderly. Initially, we informed them that we couldn’t guarantee the adhesion of the urethane material, but it has been 6 years and it’s still holding strong. This pool was built by others 35+ years ago

Replacing the transformer in this UV unit can be challenging due to difficulties in finding the exact part—either because the unit’s Co. or part manufacturer is no longer in business. This is why our clients remain loyal to us. Our added value lies in our experience and strong work ethic.
